邱博楷個展 CIOU Bo-Kai Solo Exhibition
「動物星球」上有著各式各樣的物種，美麗的生物、奇幻的風景，這裡沒有高樓，沒有大廈，看不見街道，也看不見城鎮，它始終保持著純淨而原始。
然而某天人們發現了此地，生物們也發現了人類，開啟了相互的認識，近一步的，兩者間有了模仿甚至學習，然而有時還是會出現摩擦或爭執，但無論如何，兩邊都希冀能在天平的兩端，找到合適的生存之道。
“ Animal Planet ” is home to a diverse array of species, with breathtaking creatures and fantastical landscapes. There are no skyscrapers, no towering buildings—no streets or towns in sight. It remains pure and untouched, preserving its original essence.
One day, however, humans discovered this place, and the creatures discovered humans. This marked the beginning of mutual recognition, leading to imitation and even learning between the two. Occasionally, conflicts and disagreements arose, but both sides ultimately hoped to find a way to coexist in balance, like two ends of a scale seeking equilibrium.

「生活不是機械式的單一，因應變化需要不斷調適，猶如者整個生態環境，適者生存不適者淘汰，直到演繹出最好的自己」，如動物星球上的生物與人類有了第一次接觸，行為的改變才得以利於天秤兩端的平衡，在這樣相互交融的情況下，產生了各種的情境，有的看似新奇、有的看似平常，在此透過系列作品反思人於「現實」、「社會」、「環境」裡的種種心裡。
"Life is not a monotonous machine; adapting to change requires constant adjustment. Just like an ecosystem, only the fittest survive while the unfit are eliminated—evolving toward the best version of themselves." When the creatures of Animal Planet first encountered humans, changes in behavior allowed both sides to maintain balance. Through this mutual integration, various scenarios emerged—some appearing novel, others seemingly ordinary. This series of works serves as a reflection on human emotions and experiences within reality, society , and the environment.

系列作品延續著「圖示」的特性，這樣的靈感源取自東方繪畫裡的「符號性」，東方繪畫強調「寫意不寫形」，猶如《芥子園畫譜》般的教科書，創造出特有的造型與符碼，而這股抓取圖像並複製貼上的動作，就好似「剪紙」或「蓋印」一般，聚焦於圖形本身，而非空間邏輯的安排，系列作品則在圖示與符號的特性中，帶出獨有的創作語彙。
The series continues the characteristic use of "icons," drawing inspiration from the symbolic nature of traditional Eastern painting. Eastern art emphasizes "expressing essence rather than form," much like the Mustard Seed Garden Manual of Painting, creating unique shapes and codes. The act of extracting, copying, and pasting images resembles "paper cutting" or "stamping," focusing on the image itself rather than spatial logic. Through the interplay of symbols and imagery, this series establishes its own distinct creative language.

邱博楷 Ciou Bo-Kai
1997年生
2023畢業於國立臺灣藝術大學書畫藝術學系碩士，以水墨、膠彩為主要創作媒材，作品多以山水、動物、花卉等圖示風格作為創作主題，結合上裝飾、插圖的圖像風格，探討著對於「經驗」、「社會」、「環境」的反思，並在獨特的創作語彙裡，試圖詮釋東方繪畫另類的靈動與氣質。
