創作自述
人類進化史可視為動物性的退化與技術能力增強的歷史，這些技術能力可以是生產關係，符號代碼，工程塑料，基因技術或者疫苗，也就是說，一切人性都是歷史的，都是處於變動之中的，世界並沒有一個理所當然的樣子，那麼，自毀和重構帶來的異化究竟是不是人的宿命？
Human evolution could be seen as the deterioration of animal and the enhancement of technical ability. Those technical abilities could be production relationship, sign code, engineering plastics, genetic technology or vaccine. In other words, humanity is historical. It is altering and the world does not have a fixed form. Then is the alienation which brings by self-destructing and reconstructing are the destiny of all human?
陳穎
1976 ⽣於四川成都
2003 畢業於四川美術學院油畫專業本科，曾先後任教於四川師範大學 和 四川美術學院
現為專職創作，工作與生活於重慶

他筆下的人偶，有著細緻的“皮膚”，擁有明媚的雙眼和濃密的睫毛。朱唇嬌豔欲滴，絲絲發梢柔美順滑。這本應受人垂愛呵護的美物，卻在這快速發展的工業社會裡，遭人輕蔑遺棄，被賦予的價值蕩然無存。對於這樣的現實，“她”選擇沈默以對——靜靜地躺著，輕閉雙眼、⾯容甜美安詳，好似與世無爭。對於“她”的際遇，我不清楚是該黯然抑或傾羨。那瞬間的永恆，定格在如此華麗頹美的珍寶中，像極了這浮華絢爛卻毫無靈魂的世界。那是不存在的世界中存在的事實。徘徊纏綿於生死、愛慕、恐懼、虛幻與現實的矛盾情緒之中。

The dolls he portraits, have delicate skin, bright eyes and thick eyelashes. Every beautiful doll should be beloved and pampered, yet they had been despised and abandoned in this industrial society that develops rapidly. The value given had completely gone. Facing the reality, she chooses to be silent—laying down quietly with her eyes shut, seems peaceful and hermetic. Regarding her situation, I don’t know I should feel gloomy or jealous. The instant eternity stopped at such sumptuous, mournful but beautiful moment, just like this splendid but soulless world. That is the truth exists in the non-exist world. Wandering, lingering in these ambivalent emotions that thinking about life and death, love, fear, illusion and reality.
